1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made directly from WarnHack. Because our offerings differ — software subscriptions, expert-led services, and scheduled training — refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, as described below. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
2. WarnHack Terminal subscriptions
- Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid being charged.
- Monthly plans. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and access continues until the end of the current billing period. Monthly fees already charged are generally non-refundable.
- Annual plans. If you cancel within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal and have not made substantial use of the service, you may request a full refund. After 7 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you keep access until the end of the paid term.
3. Professional services (VAPT & consulting)
Due to the nature of our cybersecurity services — which involve significant manual effort and expert time — we generally do not offer refunds once the engagement has commenced.
- If you cancel before the scheduled start date and before any preliminary work (scoping, provisioning, or testing) has been performed, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
- Once testing or delivery has begun, fees for work performed and Deliverables produced are non-refundable.
- For fixed-scope engagements, any prepaid amount for clearly unstarted, separable phases may be refunded at our discretion.
4. Training & workshops
For scheduled training programs and workshops, cancellations are handled on the following sliding scale:
| Notice before the event | Refund |
|---|---|
| 7 days or more | 100% refund |
| 3–6 days | 50% refund |
| Within 48 hours | No refund |
Where permitted, you may instead transfer your seat to a colleague or reschedule to a later session at no extra charge if you notify us at least 3 days in advance.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund or cancellation, email [email protected] from the address associated with your purchase, including your order or invoice number and the reason for the request. Requests should be made within 14 days of the transaction where you believe you were charged in error.
6. How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after approval; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or payment provider.
- Any applicable taxes are refunded in line with the amount refunded.
7. Non-refundable items
- Work already performed and Deliverables already provided.
- Setup, onboarding, or third-party pass-through costs already incurred on your behalf.
- Purchases explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of sale.
8. Disputes and chargebacks
If you believe you were charged in error or are unsatisfied with the quality of a service, please contact us first at [email protected] — we handle such cases individually and in good faith. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and can result in suspension of the affected account while the dispute is reviewed.
